When did your facial bone structure stop changing?

I look at my dads younger photos (when he was say 23-28) and his face back then was a lot more lean compared to now as he has a huge chin/
jaw now and his face is noticably wider. i thought bones stop changing after asy 25? so why did his face get so much bigger and will this happen to me?
