Okay i have a hard-to-tame hamster… should i just put my hand there and dont care about everything?

theres this hamster about 9 or 10 month old which i had it since 1 month old. its dam dam srsly hard to tame. i mean like its always afraid of me and make clicking sounds. thats why i know its afraid. no matter what i do it will always always bite me… so should i prove to the hamster that i am good by putting my hand in and let it smell for 1 min and brave through all the bites? whats the worse that will happen from a hamster bitE? just small bruises right? or more?????
