New round-face cut without blow-dry styling or hairstyling products??
In addition to having a fat, round face, I have a medical problem which makes me sweat heavily from my scalp and face, in all weathers. I need a new hairstyle – right now it’s long and I wear it up, but there are lots of loose, shorter hairs that blow around my face and make a terrible mess out of me. Combs and clips don’t stay in since my hair is very fine and slippery.
Since my hair is soaked right down to the scalp soon after I leave home, any styling would be immediately eliminated and any product I use would just run all over my face. I’ve read in these pages that the best style for my face shape is a mid-length cut with face-framing layers, but what about for my face shape AND sweating problem? I am getting desperate enough to consider a military-style cut – one to two inches in length, short enough to stay upright when wet – but I know that it wouldn’t be flattering. Are there any takers for this nasty problem of mine?
