Does mattifying lotion “cancel” other facial products?

My daily skin routine consists of cleansing, then applying an anti-aging serum, a moisturiser (if I don’t use a moisturiser my face feels really dry and tight) and then sunscreen. All of those products on my face leave it looking oily after a while so I’ve started using a mattifying lotion which really works, however, since it works by absorbing excess oil, do you think it strips the anti-aging serum, moisturiser and sunscreen off my face too?
